We stayed here on our wedding night before heading back to our new hometown the following morning and leaving for our honeymoon. After the long evening wedding reception we were exhausted. We checked in late sometime around 1:00am and the person at the front desk was courteous and quick. The room was clean and spacious, and the king size bed was nice and comfortable. Check-out is at noon but they kindly gave us the option of checking out one hour late at no extra charge since it was our wedding weekend and we were so worn out. However, we didn't end up needing it because we got woken up so early...the only complaint we have is that we requested a quiet, secluded room and they gave us one overlooking the indoor swimming pool, so we heard children yelling and playing in the pool below very early in the morning. Fortunately, we were only there for one night, but if we were to stay longer it might have been a problem that bothered us. Other than this, everything was great. It's a nice, clean option for a hotel in Owensboro.

This was our second stay at this Fairfield. Once again we loved the two bed suite. It had a couch and table to work on the computer (once I got the wifi to connect). The bathrooms are very nice - although the water pressure is lacking.

We traveled with a HS team. They had a good breakfast which is important to us.

The hotel is OK, but nothing special; neat and clean, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Our only complaints are a too soft bed and no microwave/refrigerator in our room. Given the price, I would have expected more which accounts for the average rating.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn because we weren't able to get a hotel closer to Holiday World. This is on of the nicest hotels I've even stayed in. First, the man at the front desk was awesome; he was very kind, helped us with directions to the interstate, and gave us coupons for nearby restaraunts. Second, the room was very clean and tidy. The bathroom was big, and the shower had good pressure. The towels and sheets were clean, and so was the floor. The bed was very comfortable. Third, the indoor pool was nice. It was kind of small, but not many people were down there when we were, so that wasn't a problem. There's also a hot tub inside, too. Pool was clean as well. Breakfast was an average continental breakfast, but we didn't eat there. There's a Denny's and Texas Roadhouse down the road, and a shopping plaza across the road. Overall, a great stay. We will definately stay again when in the Owesboro area!

The hotel was clean and easy to find, close to about everything. The beds were comfortable although I woke up 5 times during the night to put the sheets back on because they kept popping off of the corner. We purposefully wanted a place to stay with an indoor pool and were extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of those facilities. The pool had a sour smell to the water and is not heated. The hot tub on the other hand was dangerously hot the first day and had a foam in it. There was no timer near the hot tub and the sign warning you to only stay 20 minutes was nice but there is no clock anywhere. The staff was very nice at the desk and the lady doing the breakfast that morning was nice. The breakfast was average to a tiny bit above for what you find in most hotels. Housekeeping did a good job but we could have used an extra towel or two. If I ever go back to the area I have to say I wouldn't be opposed to staying here again but I would certainly look around at other facilities first.

I had stayed in this hotel previously & been very impressed with the entire experience. This stay however was a complete disappointment.

The room smelled musty/smoky in spite of the entire facility being supposedly "smoke free.". There were numerous cigarette burns on the bathroom counter. One bed was unusable due to a severe slant towards the floor - you'd literally slide off. The A/C was not adjustable - turning the knob did nothing. The tub surround was cracked below the faucet with mold growing around the crack. There was a hole in the bathroom door where the robe hook had apparently been torn off & not replaced correctly. One elevator was non-functional the entire time we were there. Even the breakfast was a dissappointment. One morning they were out of "waffle mix" - the next morning, they had some but the waffle iron kept trying to slide off the counter & into the trash can. Another guest was nearly burned badly trying to catch it.

It was definitely not the kind of stay we'd expected in a Fairfield Inn! It was more of what you would expect in something like a Days Inn or other low-cost hotel (or motel).....

On the positive side however, the staff was excellent, Polite, helpful. Exactly as we've come to expect from Fairfield Inns over the years. Unfortunately it couldn't make up for the decline of the property itself - even though it's advertised as being newly renovated, etc....

The most enjoyable stay we have had in many years. It was IMPECCABLY clean, the service was great. ALL of the employees (Barbie, Craig, Brittany and the breakfast lady) could not have been more friendly or helpful. Barbie is a walking MapQuest she gave us perfect direction to shopping in Evansville and seeing Newburgh, Indiana. The beds were comfortable and my daughter enjoyed evening swims in the indoor pool. The breakfast was good, a varied assortment of hot & cold items. Refrigerator, microwave and internet in the room made the stay even more pleasant. We were sad to leave after our 6 days stay because all the employees were so nice, friendly and helpful. One front desk young man made the BEST ever peanut butter cookies for the guests. It was liek leaving family when we had to check out. The staff is teh true epitome of Southern Hospitality adn teh hotel was clean in every aspect. You truely get what you pay for , and MORE, when you stay here!!!
