“Good Italian food”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

Go here if you want to eat some honest and tasty Italian food. The owners are passionate and very friendly. Plenty of choice and everything we ate was very tasty. The atmosphere was cosy, the prices are very good.
We will come back when being around!

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend and he didn't steer us wrong. This is a husband and wife team, Luigi front of house and Daniela doing the cooking. The food was amazing and the service friendly and efficient. Don't let the meal end without the almond biscuits and vino sante ("health wine"). Dip the biscuits in the wine to double the pleasure!

“Words can't do it justice! Best restaurant in Italy!”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

I don't know where to begin in describing this restaurant. Without a doubt, it was THE best dining experience we had on our three week vacation in Italy. I knew we were in for a special evening when the proprieter, Luigi, noticed us driving by looking for parking and he ran out on the street to greet us and show us where to park. Once in the restaurant we were treated to a lovely experience and wonderful food. It started off with the complimentary, wafer-thin breadsticks, which were exquisitely seasoned. For our main courses we had tagatelle ragu with porcini, tartuffo nero, and rosemary oil steak, all of which were superbly delicious. One of the dishes came with the most delicate and tasty paper-thin fried potatoes which I highly recommend. (Incidentally, they do offer gluten free bread and some pasta and risotto entrees which are gluten free.) One of our group asked how the rosemary steak was prepared. Soon, the cook, who is Luigi's wife, Danielle, came out of the kitchen to explain. Next thing we know, she took the person back to the kitchen and showed him exactly how to prepare it! After the meal, we had vin santo with homemade biscotti. The biscotti almost melted in the mouth -- it was fresh and not too hard and when dipped in the vin santo was amazing. This was followed by some wonderful limoncello to top off the meal. Throughout the meal, Luigi would stop to see how we were enjoying our meal and chat with us, making us feel like long lost friends. He was particularly attentive to the 4 year old in our group, making him feel at home. Sadly, this was our last night in Tuscany as we wished we had discovered this restaurant a lot sooner so we could have eaten there several times. I know I am not doing this place justice as everything was perfect and we couldn't have had a better way to say farewell to Tuscany! If you are in the area, make sure to eat here at least once! It is the best place I have ever eaten in my 8 trips to Italy and the genuine warmth and friendliness of Luigi and Danielle made it a special experience!

“BEST Florentine Steak”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

Warm and welcoming proprietor and his wife, the chef, could not have been more hospitable. Many complimentary tastes before the incredibly tasty Florentine steak! I am not a huge meat eater but this is a steak for two so since my husband really wanted to try, we ordered. It was amazing!
