We were pleased to arrive at Il Gelsomino and find it located in a
small, walled, hilltop village surrounded by olive groves. Ken and
Alice were kind and welcoming. The residence is in a historic stone
building but has been comfortably rennovated inside, and was clean and
warm in November. There was plenty of room for our family of five.
The village has good access to major roads, and we were able to visit
Pisa and Florence on day trips. Most of all, we enjoyed exploring the
neighbouring villages and especially a day spent at home with a
cooking lesson from Alice. We can't wait to come back.
