I agree with the many other reviews that the lobby is classic, and is the best feature of this hotel. Unfortunately, the rooms, elevators, and hallways need to be remodeled. I also agree with the other reviews that the walls between the rooms are paper thin. It was very annoying for me to try and sleep when I was constantly being awakened by people in the rooms on both side of mine. For the price I paid, I should have been able to enjoy a quiet, restful night's sleep. Maybe that's why the hotel continues to promote the ghost tales. So they could explain away the noises in the night...
