The rooms were nice and updated, but had too many issues to give this a higher rating.

1. One night maid service did not clean my room. I had to call at 7pm to have them come.

2. On 2 other days I came to my room for lunch around 2pm and the room wasn't cleaned yet.

3. On the morning of checkout I wanted to get some extra sleep because I had a long drive ahead of me. Maid service was at my door at 8am and knocked until I got out of bed and told them I was still here. Very inconsistent.

4. The tv is a nice flat screen but uses what must be an over the air antenna. Out of maybe 15 channels only 3 or 4 were watchable.

5. The garbage wasn't emptied when I checked in and there was a hair band on the floor.

Good location and plenty to do but I wouldn't stay here again.

While WALKING to the front desk to drop off my bag to be held for me, I stuffed an important t-shirt I had JUST won at a competition INTO the bag and zipped it up. My shirt WAS in the bag beyond all reasonable doubt. After picking up my bag and going back to the Sheraton, I realized that not only had they STOLEN my shirt, but my things had been moved around. I called them and the man behind the phone hung up on me midway into my last few questions on who was working at the time and if I could file it over the phone. I called again and the employee told me to come down, claiming that the baggage claim room was under camera surveillance and that it'd be no problem. When I got there to report my stolen shirt (mind you, this is a valued shirt, not some walmart cheap buy one get one free shirt), I was told very rudely by the manager and 2 other employees that his employees would never steal and that there are NO CAMERAS inside the luggage room. The manager mentioned how in his last 20 years, no one had ever stolen anything (come on, really?) and since I wasn't a resident of the hotel (later mentioning that even if I was), they are not responsible for any lost items. I was treated rudely and disrespectfully and given so many excuses about how the Hyatt is not "the holiday inn"... but by the feel of it, they hired people straight from the holiday inn. They do NOT care about you or your items, but rather only protecting themselves. My case has been completely taken off the radar, as though it never existed. STAY AWAY.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel on a Saturday night. Check in went smoothly and the staff was friendly, however, when we got to our room it was 2 Double beds instead of a King. I asked if we could be switched to a King, but they said all the rooms were booked. Needless to say we spent the night cramped in a very little double bed which made for an uncomfortable night sleep. Our room looked directly down on 4th Street Live which is very noisy until late into the night, so if you want to get a decent night sleep make sure your room isn't on that side of the hotel. My other complaint was the TV was Analog! You heard me right! Not digital...There was maybe 20 channels and half of them were staticky . For a hotel that calls itself a business class hotel, you would think they would offer better. However, if your interested in Porn movies than your in luck. There had to be 500 to choose from, and No I didn't watch them. I was simply comparing what they were offering. Also if you want free WiFi, you'll need to walk down the street to Panera. Once again, something a "business class" hotel should offer. The rooms were small, and the bathroom was even smaller. The only good thing that I can say about this hotel is the location is very convenient to the fun stuff their is to do downtown. It's about a 3 block walk to the Kentucky Center for the Arts, which is why we were in town. Personally, I will not be staying her again.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel based on your recent stay and experience. We regret we did not exceed your overall expectations, for which we strive at Hyatt Hotel. We are happy to announce that we are in the process of upgrading our current TV system to an HD signal and increasing our channel line-up as well; the process should be completed by mid-October. The channel line-up will include increased family and children’s programing, as well as other channels we currently do not offer. The hotel provides complimentary Wi-Fi in the lobby as part of the hotel amenities. We were glad to hear that the Front Desk staff was friendly and efficient. We hope you will reconsider and choose to stay with us again the next time you visit our city.

We stayed there for one night, and liked it so much that we've decided we definitly want to come back again when we have more time for maybe a weekend stay. The staff was excellent, from the very minute we walked through the doors -- extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived a couple of hours before the official check-in time, but they let us check in early anyway--no questions asked, no hassle at all. Since we had never been to Louisville, and were just there exploring, it was very helpful that the front desk staff offered up some suggestions of places to check out. They even gave us a pass to get into the Howl At the Moon Saloon for free that night.

The room was AWESOME. I loved the bed--best night sleep we've had forever..extremely luxurious bedding! We used the indoor pool while we were there, and it too, was a very nice ammenity--very clean and quiet. Our room was on the 15th floor and we had an excellent view of the city, to the point that when we return, we are going to ask for that same exact room.

We unfortunatley had to check out at 6 am the next morning. We received a very nice surprise from them upon checkout! Since the parking attendent was not on duty at that hour in the morning, they waived the parking fee of $10, and told us not to worry about it. A great ending, to a wonderful stay.

I have zero complaints about this hotel, and highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Louisville. I will absolutely stay there again.
