My Fiance and I stayed at this hotel this past weekend as we were doing some wedding planning. They gave us a great military rate, their staff could not have been more polite and helpful, and it was in a great location. The rooms were spacious, and even the free breakfast was good! I will be booking this hotel again for my wedding party next year! oh, and it was within walking distance (in my 6 inch heels) of 4th street live!

Room Tip: The rooms were spacious, and very comfortable, the only thing this hotel is missing is a hottub to go with the pool.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our two kids and had no complaints. New and clean facilities. Breakfast buffet was nothing fancy but did the job and there was plenty of room to handle a crowd. Pretty easy/short/safe walk to anything in the main downtown area; walked several times with our kids. Parking is free but can get scarce if they are busy. Don't be confused, it is attached to a Marriott Fairfield Inn too. Someone put some room service on our bill but the desk removed it at final checkout. We would stay here again.

Really unexpectedly nice accomodations - great property and service. Complimentary shuttle to downtown locations - thanks Amanda!! Rooms on the back side of the property on the parking garage side are quietest; the gym is better than average for this property. The gathering area for breakfast is expansive with plenty of seating choices and a modern design. the complimentary breakfast is 'ok' if you need something quick and aren't picky. one block away is in the Marriott is Champions Sports Bar/Grill or Blue (upscale) where you can charge to your room - nice option !

The Spring Hill Suites Louisville Downtown offers a very comfortable bed but lacks in other amenities.
The bathroom setup offers little privacy, but the shower is good. A bathtub would be nice.
Breakfast is included in the room charge, and the buffet looks big and abundant, but the food was not great quality, except maybe for the yogurt selection. The coffee was like colored water.
The front desk tries to be helpful but seemed understaffed most of the time.
Decent area to stay---great restaurants nearby on Market & Main Streets.
Look elsewhere for more comfort and more amenities.

To begin, I ike Marriott properties. Whenever I can, I will stay in a Marriott hotel because the beds allow you get to a good night's rest.

If you are visiting Louisville with the intent of a attending a convention or having fun, this is a great hotel. It's located about two blocks from the convention center and about three-four blocks from Fourth Street Live. We visited on June 30th, and it was more than 100 degrees. Both were easy walks from the hotel.

There is a Courtyard and a Hyatt closer, but both are a lot more expensive.

As for the hotel, the only fault I could find is that it shares the parking garage and the swimming pool with a Fairfield Inn, also a Marriott property. The hotel is excellent. The staff was excellent. The room was a two-room suite with a refrigerator.

The breakfast had a great selection. In fact, it caused a problem. This was the first day of a 19-day trip for my son and myself. One of the items at the breakfast was gravy and biscuits. After trying them, my son wanted gravy and biscuits every morning. None of the hotels for the next 18 days had it, and it wasn't until the final day that I found something that compared.

Overall, I'd definitely stay there again.
