The service is excellent and the food quite ecclectic. The owners seem to want to make this a 5 star experience and all of the food and wine proved they were well on their way.

A restaurant with a great, Brilliant atmosphere.
Very consistent and great quality of service and FOOD. Thoughtfully selected, put together menu, good selection of wines (one easily can get good recommendation on their list when requested).
They have different decors that may suit for various occasions, which is a good option.
Little pricey but the QUALITY that is provided makes it WORTH.

Seasoned Louisville chef Dean Corbett's latest and greatest restaurant. Emphasis on fresh and local. Seasonal menus always offer something for everybody, but you will know you are in Kentucky. Usually a cheese plate on the desert menu is a personal favorite.

We went to Louisville on a weekend get away. We wanted to have a special dinner. We found Corbett's on Trip Advisor which sounded good. We were not too sure about it when it turned out to in the middle of a commercial complex. It was wonderful however. We both had the five course Chef's meal with the wine pairings. Everything was superb, the meal the service and the ambiance. There were a couple of the items in the meal that we would never have ordered but they were excellent. What a pleasant surprise. The staff was very attentive yet unobtrusive, used plates were quickly cleared, water and drinks were continually refilled. The wait and bus staff were very professional and identically dressed. My only comment is that the hostess staff and management perhaps could step up their attire a bit.

We celebrated our anniversary at Corbett's in Louisville and it was (mostly) OUTSTANDING! First, the atmosphere was beautiful and bright. The conversion from a beautiful old house to Corbett's is a first class job, well done! The presentation was FIRST CLASS! The entire evening was excellent and I am not going to allow the one thing that was "disgusting" cause me to mark down our experience. The service was "fashionably" slow but, considering our event, it was appropriate. We had a bottle of "excellent" wine along with delicious salmon cake appetizers. Then, I had a scrumptious tomato salad that couldn't be better! And our dinner was amazingly beautiful and good! I had the salmon and she had haddock, we were both very pleased! Finally we topped the evening with a dessert called "Dacquoise" which is a Coca Nib Japonaise, Mocha Buttercream, Fleur de Sel Butterscotch, Bruleed Vanilla Bean Anglaise. What a treat! I guess you are wondering what was disgusting.....it is the way the manager was wearing his pants. His trousers were hanging below his crack and looked unsanitary and disgusting. He not only was the manager, so he said, he also served some of our food. I have included a picture. We will return and hope he has learned how to wear his pants and look a little more classy or that he isn't there!
