I like this place! The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is decent and the service is good. This is a neighborhood type of place that has many regulars ! Last time I was there the host was the owner, Tommy O'Shea !
They have a great outdoor patio. The only problem is people can smoke on the patio. There have been times I have sat next to a bunch of smokers that I was convinced they were going for the record of most cigarettes smoked in an hour. Not a fan of eating and inhaling smoke.
O'Sheas also does a lot for the community. He has held a number of fundraiser.
It is a very laid back place and can be noisy but that is part of its charm.

This was probably our first hangout spot when we first moved to Louisville and we still try to make it here as often as possible. On our first visit we had a couple beers and some light food just to check the place out. When we returned for our second visit, Kelly happily greeted us by name as we walked through the door as if she'd known us forever. That great attitude extends to pretty much all of the staff that we've dealt with.

They have an absolutely HUGE selection of beers both on tap and in bottles ranging from standard fare to fancy brews that can run upwards of $20/per and have specials during U of L and UK games.

I've tried most of the food menu by now and haven't found anything that I don't like yet. The reuben wontons and beer cheese & bread sticks are our favorite appetizers and I can't get enough of the Dublin sandwich (ordered on rye or pumpernickel)... AWESOME!

The place is huge with two indoor bars in the main part of the building, at least one bar in a detached building and the occasional outdoor bars depending on weather and special events. O'Shea's is a phenomenal place to be for the St. Paddy's Day parade and a great place just to gather with friends too.

On our most recent visit, we got to sit outside and listen to a group of guys playing bagpipes and drums while we watched Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer playing across the street.

We visited O'Shea's while in Louisville for the Ironman back in August. O'Shea's was a great spot to refule, right along the race route. They had a small patio out front, but we opted for a table just inside to escape the sun.

Service was excellent, and our food arrived quickly. We split a flatbread pizza and spinach dip and each had a beer, suggested by our waitress. The restaurant was almost empty, and we didn't feel rushed to leave which was nice. Definitely a place I'd return to.

Actually was looking for a place open on Thanksgiving. They were one of the few places open. The beer cheese appetizer was awesome. Our meals were excellent and we received fast and prompt service. Watched a little football and enjoyed the atmosphere. Would go to again.

Traditional Iris pub w/many rooms with different seating options. Quite loud for an oldster like me but the 21-35's really like it. Wide variety of beverage choices and we had an amazing party! Thanks!
