Possibly one of the best meals I have ever been served. The oyster and the shrimp appetizers were great. Perfect spice, preparation, and presentation. Entree was the Short Rib. Amazing is the only way to describe it. And don't forget the great bourbon flights! If you only have one night to eat out in Louisville, this should be your place.

We eat here on Oaks night (day before the derby). My fiance was doing the urban bourbon trail and we found this place through that. We decided to head there around 430 p.m. when they opened for happy hour to get a table in the bar because the earliest time they had for a table was 9 p.m. The building it's in is really cute and the inside is very nice. There's a lot of brick and a lot of charm to the restaurant. The bourbon selection is huge so my fiance loved that. I was able to find some good wines that I like along with some other drinks. The service was really good while we were there. We started off with the fried oyster appetizer and it was great - smoky and a bit spicy. We each had the salmon dish on the menu - salmon with Parmesan grits and topped with a crab salad. It was excellent. We will definitely visit here again the next time we're in town. We also go to meet the owner who gave us some tips for our derby day at Churchill Downs which was helpful.

An amazing blend of casual and sophisticated. A strong and diverse Bourbon list. The lobster bruschetta and goat cheese appetizers were magnificent

I've eaten here several times before. Never again on NYE. We had the 2nd seating at 7:30 and were incredibly rushed even though we had plenty of time to spare. Service was poor as far as getting drinks, bread, etc... I think our waitress was also the hostess. Otherwise, we've always enjoyed.

Don,t get me wrong, the food was excellent but their menu now is very limited and their prices seemed much higher. The fact shows up because they were only about half filled on a Saturday night
