“Great for all ages”
Reviewed February 14, 2014

Takes you through a history of Ali's life. Exceptionally well produced with enough interactive displays to please all ages. I was very impressed with the content the style in which it was presented. If you are in Louisville I highly recommend it for all ages.

“A must see”

didn't know all the history of Ali and it was an interesting place to learn about his life. Lots of hands on features and plenty of reading and videos to watch. Time well spent.

“A Chapter in American History”
Reviewed January 31, 2014

For anyone that thinks that the Muhammad Ali Center is a paean to one of the greatest boxers in history is mistaken. Sure, there is a good deal devoted to his boxing career, but The Man was also at the center, as some might recall, of the Civil Rights movement as well as in the middle of the opposition to the Vietnam War. Probably one-third of the museum is devoted to each of these subjects. For those that lived through this part of the 20th Century, it seems like a long time ago, yet so recent. The videos, printed materials, and memorabilia bring it all into focus. For those too young to remember, the displays create a visual aide to an important chapter in American history. A look at the contributor board will show those individuals and companies thought that this chapter was imperative to preserve. A must see.

“Better than expected”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

At first I was concerned because it was very little people there. However my husband and I enjoyed it. I learned a lot about the man and the boxer. Very clean museum. Staff was very pleasant. You shouldn't need more than 2 hours to walk through. I believe it was only $9 per adult.

“Ali's Journey”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

Ali Center in Louisville will give you an insight in to the person that was Mohammed Ali. Highlighting his boxing career, racial discrimination and humanitarian achievements, this interactive museum features articles, videos, contracts, gloves and other memorabilia from Mohammed's boxing days. Moreover, you will find a ring where you can practice your jabs. The student tickets (ID required) are only $5.00. Garage will run you about the same.
