Nice evening, quiet crowd having a leisurely dinner on the deck as the sun set over the river. Incredibly relaxing. Food was mediocre at best, but we went lo-cal and passed on the really decadent entrees.
Service very slow but pleasant.

Needed a place to eat before a Louisville Bats game at nearby Slugger Field. Joe's was an easy 10-minute or so walk from the stadium's main parking lot.

Got there after 5 p.m., but not a very long wait at all.

Sat outside on the deck, which offered a great view of the Ohio River. The sunny day and warm temperature only added to the experience.

Our server was great. My wife stuck with a sandwich, while I got one of the boils. Not huge on corn, but the boil made it worth it.

We had a very nice lunch on the outdoor deck at Joe's Crab Shack. While we ate, we could watch barges, boats and a paddle wheeler going up and down the river. For two of us, we ordered one crab pot (king crab, queen crab, snow crab, corn on the cob and potatoes) and a chicken salad. This was just the right amount of food for one couple. The experience was fun and our waitress was great!

Recently visited Joe's while in town with my family and friends. It was a little hard to find and you actually had to pay for parking here which I thought was strange but didn't let that stop us. It was a little loud in the restaurant and maybe not the best setting for families with younger children because there was a couple tables that were getting a little rowdy and loud. Our food arrived and it was very good. I can't complain about that and our waitress was nice. I'd probably go back, but would probably go earlier in the evening in hopes of missing some of the more rowdy crowd. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Busy weekend of Thunder, but still had a great lunch on Friday afternoon. Got to see the planes practice their routines for Saurdays show without dealing with the crouds.
