Started with a great mint julep. We were a party of four so we had several things. All good. Appetizer ravioli is a marvellous starter. Salads crisp and fresh.
Beef filet melt in your month. Wow. Finished off with cinnamon monkey bread. Way to much food but oh so good. Atmosphere cozy and old school. Serve impeccable. Right on but not interruptive. Again worth the money. Nice ending to a great time spent in Louisville for the Kentucky Derby.

Have eaten at this restaurant several times and the steaks have always been superb! Service is wonderful, too! You do need to make reservations because this is a small and intimate restaurant. Be sure to look at some of the old photographs on the wall of celebrities that have been there as well as some old pictures of Louisville on the wall..

Everything we tried was fantastic. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was excellent. You couldn't ask for anything more. Definitely a top three in Louisville.

Make reservations early, always booked by locals. Dinner began with Radish Salad mixed with heirloom carrots, peas, manchego and a meyer lemon dressing; followed by Salmon and pistachio crust and the Pork Chop herb crust. Salad was delicious!! and large portion - Salmon to die for tasty and the Pork Chop, although very tasty, a little on the done side, but yet juicy enough to enjoy. Nice trio playing soft music and the saxophone player was great. Nice atmosphere for friends or business dinner. Will return again.
