Looks a bit like a dive from the outside, but inside there are white tablecloth draped tables, live jazz music and a wonderful menu of well prepared dishes. The warm brie salad was recommended to us and I am happy to recommend it to you. The fried oysters with grits were amazing. Weakest area is probably desserts.

The Brie salad was definitely unique, probably won't get it again though. The shrimp & grits were awesome, the Osso buco was a special for lunch and was a good interpretation of the classic dish. Loved the bread and the service was excellent. The place reminded me of an old saloon transformed into a great historical eatery.

Had late reservations and so enjoyed the night. Piano music was great. Room was cozy and comfy. Food was delicious and timely. Mgr, a young gal,, seemed to prefer to chit chat with fellow employees over anything else. Would definitely return.

Quite simply the best restaurant in town. And it's not close. Go. You won't be disappointed, no matter what your tastes.

The food here is really wonderful. I have always had great service, and I love how respectful the staff is of your conversation and over all experience. The menu is limited and the desserts are lack luster but the entrees are excellent. I love the atmosphere in this place - its eclectic and warm, you almost feel like you are taking a trip back in time. Its really small inside, but that adds to the charm. Lunch is 11-2:30 but It doesn't open until 5:30 for dinner.
