“Wont go back”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

Steak was tough, overdone, and lacked any flavor. Won't go back there again. We were there very late in the evening, so that could be part of the reason our food was not very good, but I have heard others complain about their food as well.

“Challenger business dinner”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

Really have developed a taste for a well done Bourbon Whiskey. Maker's Mark was the first sipping whiskey that I enjoyed. Thought the attention to detail would extend to the restaurant.....it did. Excellent wait staff, dinner selection, preparation, entrees and our new found favorite desert..........Bourbon Balls. OMG, will find a recipe to repeat this best use of Maker's Mark.

“Always a hit”

We are never less than blown away by this place. The whole package - the food, the drinks, the friendly, professional service - is always completely top notch.

“A bit over-priced. Failry limited menu. Some apps not very good”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

I am big on value - and this place just did not deliver it. With appetizers at $15 and entrees at $30-40 (or more) I would expect to have flavors and presentation jump off the table and impress me. Not so. The mussels were not very hot, small, and not much flavor in the broth (though it was unique). Goat cheese skillet was very plentiful, and good - but nothing more than melted goat cheese with pita bread. Beef carpaccio was poorly presented - very little beef totally covered up by lettuce, few capers - and not very flavorful. My companions had steak - which looked good enough - they seemed to like - but $40-45, not sure the value was there. I had the one special they offered - blackened salmon over rice. Good, but nothing great - not really worth $32. Atmosphere is like a lounge - thus the name I guess. Service was ok. Food served very quickly - if you want to drag things out, do not order mains till you eat your apps. I have to give average rating due to price and the weak apps. Lots of bourbon choices

“Not what was expected”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

Maybe this place is better at night. Lunch time crowd was small, service was slow and the menu is very limited. The chicken sandwich contained the flatest piece of chicken breast I've ever seen and was served dry. The whisky sour was pretty good.
