“Delicious Food Artistically Presented”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2014

Relish offers over the top service in a small, minimalist setting. The perfect amount of attention and expertise is provided. The food is fresh and fabulous. The pork chop is amazing as is the iceberg cube. The sweet potato panini may sound unusual but it melts in your mouth. Relish is a great place to have an early dinner before going to the theatre.

“Excellent Food and Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2014

Okay, so the restaurant is located in a small strip center, next to a liquor store and health club, and there is not a lot of parking, although plenty of parking across the street in the UofL Rowing Center. Once inside the first impression is something between contemporary and somewhat minimalist, and then everything changes. We were met by a wonderful hostess that seemed to be sincerely appreciative and welcoming. Our waiter (can remember name) was one of the best ever. We started with large order of mussels, followed by two salads (mine was wedge). For an entrée I had the fish special and my wife had the pot stickers appetizer. We each had coffee and split a dessert. In addition we had a total of three glasses of prosecco. All items were excellent, and well as presentation and the table service. The bill was $106.00, to which we added a $20.00 tip.

“Don't go if you are at all hungry...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2014

A metrosexual kind of place
clean and artistic settings
minimal menu and pricey
servings are like magazine presentations, but very small
no sides
minimum options
drinks expensive
service is good and serving is relatively fast
limited reservations... on the 1/2 hour, and they time you for a 1.5 hour dinner
geeky kind of place if you have money and are skinny/don't eat
more foreign word descriptions on the menu....wish I had my universal Rosetta Stone software to translate..
BTW, at peak time, nowhere to park. Restricted parking spaces, must park on street (River Road, not recommended) or across street at UofL Rowing facility.

“Deserves it's high ranking!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2014

This was my second time at Relish and, just like the first, it was great. We couldn't decide so each of us ordered a different soup and a different fish and sampled them all. Both soups were yummy. The chile had a little kick that was great. Both fish dishes were extremely well prepared with the fish cooked to a perfect temperature. We followed up with a yummy, sweet, gooey apple crisp and dish of fresh fruit. Service was impeccable as well. Can't wait to go again!

“Delicious New Year”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2014

Visited Relish for the first time on New Years Eve. We seated immediately upon arrival at our reservation time. The decor is trendy and eye catching. The food was even better. We started with the apple fennel salad and the iceberg cube. The champagne vinagarette on the apple fennel salad was amazing and the green goddess dressing in the wedge with blue cheese was a bold taste For the entree my wife had the striped bass. Flaky mild white meat with hints of curry and cumin made for a delicious meal. I enjoyed the wonderful pork chop. Probably the best I've had. The mashed sweet potatoes and sautéed greens were delicious accompaniments. For dessert we shared a large piece of dark chocolate cake with a delicious dollop of whipped cream. Even the black iced tea was exceptional. Relish made for a delicious New Year.
