Visited the Middletown location on Shelbyville Road. Received an extremely warm welcome upon entering. The tables have gingham table cloths with wooden chairs and tables - very BBQ spirited. The waiter was very helpful and friendly. He even made a delicious hybrid mix of unsweet tea and sweet tea for me. The menu is pretty extensive for a BBQ restaurant. There are many gluten free options as well. The sauces are very good, especially the hot BBQ sauce. The fried corn on the cob is uniquely good. Ribs, brisket, and sweet potato fries deserve an honorable mention. Wish their cole slaw was gluten free, as it shouldn't be difficult to create a gluten free version. The manager came to our table to welcome us as well. As it was our first time there, we received a free dessert and one bottle of BBQ sauce. Very appreciated! The caramel apple sundae was good, thank you!
