“Pat's is the place for steak”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

One thing about moving to California, is that there is not a Pat's steakhouse out here. When in Louisville, Pat's is on my list of great eateries to visit. Steaks are always cooked to perfection and service is spot-on. Forget the corporate franchise steakhouses and make Pat's your new favorite. You'll be glad you did.

“WONDERFUL”
Reviewed December 31, 2013

As soon s you walk in you feel the history of this grand establishment located in Crescent Hill and you know you are in for a delicious meal. Many of the servers have been here for years and the service they provide is impeccable. Your beverage glass won't go empty and the smallest need is met. The restaurant's homemade salad dressings are so good. My husband asked for more and put the blue cheese dressing on his baked potato! There is a variety of vegetables that can be ordered with your meal - the lima beans and home-cooked green beans are delicious. Pat makes sure he greets you, shakes your hand and always asks how the meal is. You're in his "house" and he wants you to have a pleasant experience. Pat's does not take credit cards, only cash or checks. Happy New Year Pat's!!

“Grease pit”
Reviewed December 21, 2013

The reservations is a joke as we had to wait 45 min past our arrival and then sat in the back by the kitchen , The best part was after the meal we went to burger king and ate. Burger King was almost 90 less and edible.

“If you want a great steak; don't go here”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

I had been here 10 years before and it was a notable and storied place. This visit seemed a stark contrast to the memories of the place. There are a number of "old school" steak joints in the US. Most the most noted have managed to keep pace, offer quality and service. This place is so tired in every way and so unrewarding. For the same price you can go up to Ruth Chris.... PASS

“Rare treat”
Reviewed November 1, 2013

Perfect combo of Atmosphere (really cool horseracing paintings, etc...) collected over 40 yrs and all wood interior and best steaks in town...can't believe someone would actually not give this 4-5 stars, must have been in really bad mood or maybe a vegan? Simply a treat all the way around and great steak preparation and sides...try it!
