“Meh.”

Glad that they are renovating the riverfront, but honestly, when you get to the top, you get a view of some really ugly parts of the cities.

“Bikes!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2013

I walked over from The Galt, rented a bike, and then I rode the bike path over . . . You can walk it if you don't like bikes. Point: you will feel rejuvenated afterwards!

if you want to go outside and enjoy great views this is the place in Louisville. I really like watching the sail boats when we go walking here.

“Eager for this project to be completed”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

I can't wait until the Indiana side is complete. They are now saying Spring '14. There are several restaurants and shops within walking distance of the north side that I'm eager to investigate. We have walked the bridge numerous times and have really enjoyed it. When the weather is really nice and it is more crowded you may need to be watchful of those on bikes and skates. There is a place marked for them, but it is easy to get distracted and wander into someone's path. The problem stated in the "poor" comment has been taken care of, as dogs are no longer allowed on the bridge (thanks a lot, irresponsible pet owners!) And as for drug activity, I have never seen anything but families with children, couples and runners on the bridge. There are lots of benches along the way, so you can sit and watch the water traffic. The downtown bridges project is now underway and you can watch for progress on that as well. If you have small children, there is a large play area and splash park (Memorial Day to Labor Day) at the bottom of the ramp.

“Million Dollar View for Free”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013 via mobile

What a fun experience to hike across the widest river in America. Look back at the city skyline and don't forget your camera. Hike the Waterfront Park while you're at it. Lovely new perspective on a charming city.
