I've been here several times for their "summer movie series" and it's super fun to see some of my favorites up on the big screen and under the "stars." The interior theatre has a faux outdoor thing happening with lots of cherubs. The great hall is just as gaudy, in a good way. I've also been to at least one concert here and was not disappointed. There is free parking some of the time if you know where to look. And Cunningham's restaurant used to be just across the street. I believe the Brown Hotel is adjacent, you could always pop in for an authentic Hot Brown sandwich to round out your visit to Louisville.
