We stayed one night (Friday) and were very pleased. This was our first stay at a Drury Inn and we were very satisfied with everything. The 5:30 hot food was great, as was the breakfast. Our room was clean, nicely decorated and had a very large flat screen TV. We are looking forward to trying Drury Inn again on our next trip.

I will admit that I always look first for a Drury Inn & Suites in any town. Given all the services and free amenities they give, one can't beat the value of this very customer-oriented chain. But this was an especially nice Drury Inn. Friendly staff, bright clean rooms and lobby, amazing breakfast and evening 'meal' with drinks, pool and hot tub -- all this and pet friendly too.
Outside of downtown Louisville (which is what we wanted) but quick access to thruway into downtown.
A wonderful stay in one of the better Drury Inns.

We were surprised to find that this hotel is not actually in Louisville, but a short drive from the downtown Louisville area, which wasn't too inconvenient, but we had thought we were actually staying downtown so it was a bit of a surprise. We chose the Drury Inn because it was pet friendly and I can definitely say that they are because we have never seen so many people traveling with animals. The nice thing is, it didn't even smell like animals at all. Kitty at the front desk was extremely friendly and provided great customer service while checking us in. Even though the hotel was crowded on Labor Day weekend, it was pretty easy to get a parking spot close to the elevator. However, there was only one elevator working (although they have more than one) and it was a long wait to go up and down since the hotel was extremely crowded (which was to be expected on a holiday weekend). What we didn't like was the fact that the only working elevator was by the pool and families were constantly going up and down soaking wet on the elevator, which caused the carpet to smell pretty bad after awhile. Our room was clean and a good size. Unfortunately our neighbors were loud, drinking, and having quite a party, which it seemed most of the people in the hotel were doing as we shared the elevator with a lot of intoxicated people, many of which were with children. However, when we called to the front desk the problem with our neighbors was immediately remedied and the manager came up and asked them to quiet down within minutes of my call. Kudos to the management for a quick resolve. There is only so much a hotel can do in terms of bad parenting and the hotel did do what they could. It was just hard to relax in such a crazy environment and we found we did not want to use all the amenities because of this. We were looking to enjoy our time in the hotel more than we were able to. We did not get a chance to enjoy the hotel food, but did enjoy many other restaurants in the area, which were all conveniently located near the hotel. Drury Inn gets my recommendation in terms of customer service and their pet friendly accommodations, just make sure you know it isn't right in Louisville and maybe avoid busier weekends so you can enjoy the hotel a little more.

I had seen Drury Inns along the interstate for years and finally stayed in one last fall. Since then, I always look for a Drury every time I travel. This hotel did not disappoint.....friendly staff, clean room, and great ammenitites. I enjoyed the 5:30 kickback snacks in the lobby - easily enough to make a light evening meal - and the hot breakfast in the morning is a welcome change from the typical cereal and stale doughnuts of most chains. I'm a stickler for a clean room and the room was spotless. I travel to Louisville often and this hotel will be at the top of my list in the future.

very friendly staff-meet and greet as soon as you walk in - free breakfast-free evening beverages and appetizers that could be your dinner. Provided us a map and information where the expo was. Would recommend to everyone!

I always check first to see if there's a Drury in the city we are traveling to. They are such a great value for families!

There were two children's baseball leagues staying at this hotel when we were there. There were 8-10 year old kids running amuck everywhere. Not the management's fault, but the coaches and volunteers. So, the food area especially was a mess. And, yuck, there were teenage boys in the food area in their swimsuits and barefooted. Hey, don't do this...it's just gross. (And the health inspector probably wouldn't like it either.)

All in all, this was a great stay and would stay here again. Love the Drury.
