I stayed here for work on 4 separate weeks and enjoyed each of my stays. Comfortable rooms, great little kitchenette so you don't have to eat out every day and a very friendly staff! A perk for me was the tea selection every morning. I'm not a coffee drinker so this was a nice option for me.

Thanks for the wonderful Review. We are very glad to hear we could make our Hotel your Home away from Home. We do our best to try and have something for all of our guest to give them a sense of Home, and it sounds like you found all our flavor options with our Bigelow Tea. We appreciate you choosing us to stay for work, hopefully you get a chance to come back for some fun next time. We definitely appreciate your time to review us and your Loyalty to us here at the Staybridge.

This was the 3rd hotel in a row we'd stayed at that had bad internet service on our roadtrip from LA to NYC so we were getting used to it by then. However, the room was great for the 3 of us and the breakast was excellent. One whinge is that the TV setup had too many channels and numbers which was very confusing.

We stayed in Suite 203 which is a queen suite on the back/side of the hotel. Very clean and quiet. This hotel is in Middleton Area, well East of downtown, but 5 minutes from our conference. Would definitely recommend this place! We stayed 3 nights total.

We had a reserved a 2 bedroom suite w/ sleeper sofa for ourselves (Grandma and Grandpa), our younger son and our two granddaughters. We found at arrival that the suite was unavailable (the manager's term); the hotel would instead give us adjoining suites, and the manager offered a two room rate which would actually be less costly than the original suite. We decided to "go with the flow". It worked out well. It was actually more accommodating to have the extra bath facilities, tv areas, sleeper sofas and kitchenettes. The hotel elevators move quickly and smoothly, and came with little or no waiting. The "grandfolks" suite was a handicapped accessible 2 room suite, which was a little awkward (we're fully ambulatory, well-preserved and not too decrepit), but both rooms were very clean, and properly stocked with linens, and toiletries. The kids and Dad suite was easy in and out and the key worked fine. The handicapped accessible suite key was another matter, and we struggled to open the door - the key finally worked after several tries. After we got in, I made a trip to the front desk to ask about the key and was told that it worked better if one pulled up on the door handle instead of down. Though the latch was still a bit balky, that did seem to solve the worst of the difficulty. Too bad it wasn't mentioned when we checked in. The rooms were spacious, and comfortable, and the kitchenettes and full size fridges were a handy option. The price included breakfasts which, were very nice - as good or better than many breakfast included hotels, with a pleasing range of choices, hot and cold. The Saturday and Sunday we stayed, the breakfast hours were very reasonable, running until 10:30 (Is anything more irritating than being told breakfast hours are 6-9 when on vacation?). The maintenance, breakfast buffet and cleaning staff were very pleasant and courteous. There is no room housekeeping on weekends. With adequate bath linens though, as well as bed linens for the sleepers sofas, we did not feel inconvenienced. Our granddaughters really enjoyed the outdoor pool. We did too. It was a relaxing break in the hot weather. The hotel is located off exit 15 of I 64, across Blankenbaker Parkway (the very first left turn down a hill and past a convenience store/gas station. Blankenbaker mostly parallels Hurstborne, and both roads have some decent restaurant choices. But beware if you are trying to avoid the interstate for in-town travels, The only easily direct route seems to be turning east from Hurstborne onto Shelbyville Road and following it to Blankenbaker, The Staybridge was a fairly priced option for our family trip. We were generally pleased at all it had to offer.

I did not realize when I booked this hotel that it was about 30 minutes to downtown Louisville. Still it was a good sized room, and the bed was comfortable. However the carpet in our room was really dirty. I like to kick off my shoes, but when I did that here - I had to wash my feet and put them back on!

Staybridge has crappy management! They tell you they are going to do something and don't. They over book their hotel and kick out guess that are paying to accommodate new guess. Its ludicrous and I've never heard of such in my life. They have a sign up at the pool saying no more then 5 people in the pool at a time, what about a family if theres already others there. Room cards keep deactivating and you have to keep getting them reactivated.

Have stayed twice and think this is a great hotel. The suite gives lots of extra room so you can spread out and feel at home. The bedding and towels are comfortable, and the decor is tidy. Housekeeping keeps things clean and there are very few signs of wear in the hotel. The breakfast is nice and includes hot food. Staff are very nice and helpful; location is good in a safe area with shopping nearby. The higher rating is because the rooms are very affordable on top of being so comfortable.

Room Tip: quiet neighborhood all around so may want to be away from elevator.
