Interesting hole in the wall in a residential neighborhood...man am I glad I stopped in any way to give it a go! Incredible meal in a friendly, unpretentious setting. Definitely far exceeded my expectations despite having read good reviews about this joint.

The bbq baby back ribs were superb. I also had the grit cake which was unique and delicious. Washed it all down with a couple of beers at the bar...perfect evening. Will make it a point to visit this place again if I go back to Louisville.

Fun young vibe. You will most likely have to wait to be seated. Unusual menu, great food.
Basement of an old house, duck if you are over 6'2"
Lamb ribs were a neat deviation. Pork belly sliders awesome. Fried mushrooms a must try.

Stopped here on many recommendations from others. We went on a Saturday at around 6, and there was already a line of people waiting...(usually a good sign) We tried a couple of items on the menu, food was good but not amazing. A small venu that due to layout seemed to be smokey from the kitchen grilling burgers etc.. good place for couples not so good for large groups based on space.

Don't be put off by the hole-in-the-wall basement with low ceilings location. Absolutely scrumptious fall-off-the-bone BBQ ribs! Some of the best my husband & I have ever eaten. Alas, no wine ... but a good beer selection. Fun stop for some fab food.

Two of my sons and I went to Hammerheads. Great sandwiches, ribs and beer. Enough said. If it wasn't so loud in there it might get an extra 1/2 star.
