“Excellent dinner”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

We had dinner with a group of bed and breakfast owners. We all cook for a living and try to find the best restaurants in Louisville to send our guests. There were seven of us and our dinners were all delicious! My husband had the scallops and I had the grouper. Both meals were beautifully prepared and presented. We ordered the oysters to start and they were fabulous! We sent our bed and breakfast guests the next night and they came back with rave reviews, as well. One of our guests said that the dessert was so good that he proposed to the pastry chef! This will be a place that we will recommend and go back to again and again.

“Book Club Group”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

Had our monthly book club meeting here along with our excellent meal.
Especially tasty was the lobster bisque, simply yummy!
We would recommend the Baguette appetizer, the grouper, the magnificent eggplant and the scallops.
The service by Jim was professional and unhurried.
Overall the evening was a real winner for us.

“Average”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Went Kentucky Derby weekend. We had to be moved inside during the rain storm. They were trying to be as gracious as possible. However, I wish they would have been more realistic of the wait. We ended up at the bar. Manager said he would make it right, but never really came back to check on us. I realize they were busy, but I was just expecting more. Food was good. I had the Lobster Pasta - it only had a few morsels of Lobster - but the flavor was good.

“First Visit..Great Experience”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit. The filet of beef was so delicious and perfectly prepared. The Oysters Rockefeller the best we've ever had. The service was excellent...friendly and gracious. Several came by our table to check on our meals..including Chef Harold, and the House Manager, Greg....much appreciated! We had only compliments to share and will definitely return with other family members and friends. Highly recommended not just because the food was so good, but because the staff cares about the quality of their food and the experience of their guests! Bravo!
