“Historic?”

Ranked #36 of 160 things to do in Louisville
Attraction details
Reviewed December 6, 2017 via mobile

I’ve been calling Frankfort Avenue “the Avenue” for years. It finally caught on.
It’s a great strip of local cuisine, coffee (no Starbucks, thankfully), bakeries, banks, clothing, churches , galleries, etc.
Lots to offer.
Not sure about the “historic” designation. Catchy but . . .
Good place to browse on a Saturday.

Nice variety of things to do. Pretty area and not as busy as Bardstown rd. The Crave restaurant, vint coffee and comfy cow are all there and some of my favorite places in louisville.

This is the trolley hop were you can jump on and off and shop, eat, drink, wherever your heart desires and jump back on for the next top.

There are plenty of places to eat and little stores to shop at on Frankfort. I suggest staying in the area so you can walk to many things.

No shortage of things to see and do on Frankfort Ave.; shop, eat, sight see, etc. Cherokee park is also close so easy to head there for a picnic. Frankfort Ave goes on for awhile so be prepared to walk or at least move your car. There is a small farmers market there on the weekends.
