The hotel seemed run-down and there were kids running up and down halls, bouncing balls, etc, all evening! I guess there are birthday parties there at the pool. It wasn't what I was hoping for. Front desk folks were unfriendly.
Thanks for the notes on your recent stay, and I'm sorry about the noise related. Please email me a note the next time you are coming to the area, and I would love to meet you.

We were in town for a sports tournament. Had the entire team not booked at the hotel, we would have left. There were people in our group that had to change rooms. The lobby area and pool area were beautiful. Very deceiving, because one would think the rooms would be the same. They obviously updated the front lobby and meeting room and pool areas. It is almost like they are two different buildings. We had a ground floor room with a door leading out to the courtyard. There was a huge gap around the door. None of our outlets would keep something plugged in. There was a strip by the broken nightstand that we had to use. The beds looked clean enough but because the rest of the room was old and dingy, we questioned it. Our TV didn't work until the 2nd night. The people's room keys from the customers before us and some change was still on the dresser when we checked in. The bathroom was falling apart. The tiles were broken and cracked, towel bar and tissue box was falling off. Maid service never came the next day so I had to call for towels, our trash emptied and new toiletries that evening. After having to call the front desk a couple times, I was given a discount on my room for the night. Also, a boy of about 10 years was the one who brought me towels, emptied by trash, and brought the toiletries. The staff was friendly but the rooms need some major overhauling.
