“Loved the place”

Tex Mex with difference. A friend had recommended this place. Great food -- very fresh and tortilla's cooked on site!! In addition to the good food, we had fun.

“Missed Tex-Mex until I got it here!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2013

Just as good as Texas, good happy hour as well, nice service as well, a little spicier than Texas. Also stopped in Chuy's location across the river in Indiana, better queso actually!

“Should take reservations”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2013 via mobile

This was our second time at Chuy's. the first time I thought it was just ok. After eating there, both my debit card and my brother-in-law's debit card number were taken. The bank alerted both of us to suspicious charges. I contacted the manager and he graciously sent me two coupons for 4 free meals. That was last February. My brother-in-law just came for another visit. We decided to use our coupons. We tried to make reservations because we had 12 people. They don't take reservations. We got there and were the only ones waiting. We were told it would be 40-50 minutes. We sat there for 40 minutes, watched many others come in and be seated. 50 minutes passes and the manager comes out to say he hasn't forgotten us, but our table wasn't available yet. 25 minutes after that it still wasn't ready. We finally got seated, about an hour and a half after we got there. The manager was kind to bring 4 free bowls of queso out. We had 3 bowls of chips for 12 people, all but two were adults. They were gone in no time. We had one server and we were not his only table. I felt bad for the guy, having to get us drinks and chips and anything else. I thought the food was better this time, but no food is worth an hour and a half wait. Definitely not a place for large parties, considering they seemed to only have two tables that could accommodate more than eight people.
