Good beer and wine list, food was good not great. Duck fat popcorn, rocked! Service was seriously lacking on the night we stopped in.

“Good beer”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

Good beer selection. Fun place with friends. Skip the duck fat popcorn, sounds trendy and it is. Unless you really like that sort of thing. I burped nasy duck fat burps for the entire next day. Food was good and unique. Would go back for the beer.

“Excellent lunch!”
Reviewed January 6, 2013 via mobile

I thoroughly enjoyed everything that was ordered. We started with two appetizers that were very large and very good. Also ordered the hamburger which was excellent. The service was great and a very nice selection of beer. Cannot wait to go back!

“Quirky, and quite good”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

I really liked this place because it's buried in a neighborhood, and has tasty meals that are different from run-of-the-mill casual dining spots. As a single diner, I sat at the nice old wooden bar for beer and appetizer. The place has about 30-40 seats, which filled up on a Tuesday night. About 20 German, Belgian and other drafts are on tap, and a nice wine list too. While the place has a German feel to the menu, it's not stereotypical "German food." Dinners are 16 to 22 bucks, and quality sandwiches from 8-10 dollars. Parking is on the street wherever you can find a spot.

“Fun food and interesting beer”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

This has become a regular beer food spot. The burgers are great, the duck fat popcorn is addictive, and the homemade ice creams are amazingly creative. I have not been disappointed, regardless of the selection. A must is the savory crepes app. Wonderful! And the lobster watermelon salad is refreshing and satisfying. A must off Goss Ave in Germantown. The hidden gem, but not much longer.
