“Pleasant surprise”

Mrs. Potter's Coffee Lounge & Cafe
Restaurant details
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Stopped at Mrs. Potters for lunch, after receiving a recommendation from a local in Louisville, who worked at the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory. We were looking for a cozy spot that served good coffee and soup! We had the potato soup (fabulous) and a chicken wrap (yummy) along with a great cup of coffee. The service was wonderful! Definitely will stop next time we are in Louisville.

Go here for some great coffee, they get how to brew the good stuff! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. It is clearly a spot where locals come to meet, conduct business, and discuss art and other events.

We went on a Sunday afternoon when most downtown cafes aren't open. The food was AMAZING! Good portion sizes and flavorful! The service was beyond exceptional - very personal and friendly and attentive without being pretentious or crowding us. The espresso is a MUST. And I'll be thinking about the fig & prosciutto sandwich until I return to Louisville.

Lodged inside a vintage, turn of the century downtown building, brick walls and hardwood floor add character. Extensive menu of coffee and non coffee drinks, sandwiches, cookies and ice cream; attached to a restaurant, in which we didn't eat.
