I visit Cherokee Park every day. it is well maintained, clean, quiet (most of the time) and the scenic loop is the best place in town to take your bike ride, or jog or just a walk. Certain times of the day it is busier than others, so you have to dodge bikers and joggers, but on a nice Sunday morning or even in middle of winter .. walking through the park is perfect.

This HUGE urban park is worth a visit....it's all back after being devastated in the April 1973 tornado and it has miles of cycling trails, walking paths and all the fun things (from grills to tennis courts) one thinks of when they think urban green space. It was designed by famous landscape designer Frederick Law Olmsted and is worthy of his great heritage!

This park has a great area for dogs, hikers, runners, it has it all. However, it's big enough to get lost in so make sure you remember where you came from

This is my favorite park for taking the kiddos walking or just to play. Great picnic areas and I usually feel pretty safe here. Nice place for your dogs as well.
