I'll be back to see a race. Louisville is a neat city for a tourist. Lots to see and do. The history of Churchill Downs is a fantastic story.

Visited here on a super hot day and took the tour. Our guide was great. Very funny and very patient with our large group. While our tour was very good, I think our favorite part was the movie -- don't miss it. They have done such a nice job with the museum. Absolutely worth the trip.

Loved the updated churchill downs. the new betting areas are great. the food has kinda gone downhill over the years. They buffet they used to put on for Millionaires Row use to be above par, now it is just average. Still, loads of fun for groups.
I recommend this for group outings.

If you are in Louisville you must go to Churchill Downs. I was blown away at how huge it was and loved learning about its history from the tour we went on. Definitely check it out!

Met a large group of friends to hang out and enjoy races on a Friday evening.
$20 parking at Downs, $10 parking across the street, $5 down the road.
Lots of different concessions. You may have to walk around to find what you want to eat, rather than what is close to your seats.
Some good entertainment was available outside the stands also: several small bands.
