Friendliest service from the minute you walk in the door. Very clean and updated. Great hot breakfast. We were upgraded to a king with jacuzzi. Highly recommend staying. here. Easy access to Louisville and whatever interstate you need.

Our family came into town for a funeral and just our luck, there was a major cheerleading competition going on somewhere in Louisville. All hotels were sold out. The Comfort Inn had one room available: a two room suite. Ebony, the front desk clerk, was very courteous to my husband upon arrival. He mentioned amongst conversation that we were here for a funeral and didn't want to be around a lot of noise. Ebony gave us a bereavement rate on the room. The suite was spacious, had a pull out couch for our three little kids, a king sized bed, two tv's, etc. I am probably the most finicky person when it comes to hotel rooms. I get grossed out quite easily. I found little fault with the room. It was very clean... no hairs or weird random gross things. Only thing I could complain about is the wallpaper peeling. The housekeeping staff was friendly. The suite we were in was tucked away in a corner, so there was very little noise and private. Breakfast was so-so. Pool water was a little murky. Other than that, it served it's purpose. We were well rested and at ease during a very difficult time. Thank you Comfort Inn staff!

My family and I visited Louisville so that my youngest child compete in the USTA National Championships at Broadbent Arena. We are Platinum Level Choice Rewards members (because we almost always have a positive experience with them) so we always stay with that chain. This property was one of the best we've visited! The location was convenient, the exterior was clean and welcoming, the staff was delightfully friendly and helpful at every interaction. Our room was immaculately clean and fresh, the air conditioner was able to effortlessly chill the room to frosty temperatures and properly dehumidify the 90-degree-plus Kentucky air. The pool was pleasantly cool with clear water and always stocked with towels. Check-in and check-out were lightning fast. We were conveniently located near the arena, shops, restaurants, the University of Louisville, and the Kentucky Exposition Center. A wonderful stay!

Nice looking, clean. Lots of room for 2 in the King w/sitting area. Very comfortable beds. Great water pressure, lots of hot water, good draining tub. Basic fitness room, everything worked. It would be nice if they had wipes to clean equipment after use and towels available (had to go to pool which was just in the next room). Good breakfast, all basics covered, and a good sized eating area. The best thing is the staff. The two guys working the desk when we checked in were extremely helpful. We were checked in quickly and our room was ready but we asked to change rooms because the fragrance used in cleaning was so strong and would have really aggravated my allergies. Staff very accommodating in finding us another similar room which had not been cleaned, instructed housekeeping to not use whatever they use that is so very fragrant and then even brought in an Ozone machine to further reduce any fragrances. It helped a lot and we were so appreciative of their efforts to accommodate us. We would definitely stay here again. Hopefully management will find some other cleaning materials that will not be so fragrant but still clean effectively!

Room Tip: Property sits on a busy highway. You can hear road noise if your room faces the highway. It wasn't enough to really bother us.

Stayed several nights as our base exploring Louisville. Location was good for our itinerary. Staff at front desk were friendly and helpful - breakfast room staff not so much. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of the usual offerings. Price was good compared to other hotels in the area. Large clean room with comfy bed and pillows. One thing I was surprised by and not mentioned by other reviews for this hotel was the street noise that was heard in our room. It was very noticeable during the day but luckily died down during the night except for the motorcycles visiting the local watering holes for thirsty Thursday specials. All in all would probably stay again for a short visit.
