This is a pearl of a restaurant, just like ones in Spain. Terrific food and wines. Too bad they are selling and retiring. No one will be able to replace them!

Such a gem of a place. hiding in plain site on the busiest restaurant row in Louisville, De La Torres and La Bodega (connected at the hip, sharing the same kitchen spots) are always a great experience. Both restaurants are unassuming, quiet and nuanced. Lighting is perfect. the wait staff is perfect and the food is wonderful. at the upper end of the spectrum on pricing but you never feel like you got taken. the wine list is spanish centered and reasonably priced. We went for a special occasion and planned it for a night there was entertainment. One local band "Twin Limb" and "Communist Daughter" played 2 short acoustic sets. Great food, wine and entertainment and all for slightly under $100.

Surprisingly varied tapas menu, typically priced. If you're hungry and have never had tapas before, don't expect to leave feeling very full! Service was friendly. Dishes were all delicious and well seasoned. I especially liked the mussels and the mushroom tapas.

Really good bite size tapas, nice variety. My wife and I plan to visit again soon and just get everything on the first page.

We have been many times to this restaurant, it is always amazing. The menu is huge, tapas starting in the $3.-$4. range! Love the red sangria and the big windows facing the heart of the Highlands neighborhood.
