Owner description: Batter up! It takes a special place to craft the #1 Bat in Major League Baseball. At Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, experience history-in-the-making as you stroll through the actual factory where world-famous Louisville Slugger bats are created. The award-winning factory tour is a highlight of the visit here, but there's plenty more to enjoy along with it. Admire the World's Biggest Bat - stretching 120 feet into the sky. Hold bats actually used by baseball superstars like Mickey Mantle, Johnny Bench, Cal Ripken Jr. And Derek Jeter. Face down a 90-mph fastball hurled by a major league pitcher. Count the homerun notches Babe Ruth carved into his Louisville Slugger bat for every home run he hit with it. Step into the batting cages and take some swings with a replica model of your hero's bat. Guests even get a free miniature souvenir bat at the end of the factory tour. You can even create a bat with your own name on it, just like the pros. They make great gifts for all kinds of special occasions, from newborn babies, to groomsmen gifts, to team trophies and more. The museum store is also loaded with lots of sporty merchandise for every budget. Be sure to swing by! Please visit our official website for up-to-date hours and admission prices.

If you have been to Cooperstown this is a natural 'next place' to visit. Very friendly and a good 30 minute tour of the factory, complete with free miniature bat at the end. Film show could have been better given the subject matter.

Would be great for kids and baseball lovers. You still get mini bat at end of tour included in tour cost! Tour was very informative, but not allowed to take pictures. Nice museum and can try to hit balls in batting cage. They even have bats from famous players you can actually pick up and get picture with. Few wax type figures of great players in their home run poses you can get picture with too.

I would like to start off by saying that we went on this your with our 4 year old an 6 year old kids. They were amazed by the factory tour as were we. This is by far one of the coolest things I've got to see. Being baseball fans, we learned a lot. Totally worth it. We even purchased a personalized babes all bat for each of our kids. Thank you!

This is a quick tour of the factory, a small museum and some batting cages. Just enough to give you a taste. Overall an enjoyable thing to do.

You will tour the plant while in full production actually seeing the bats being made that are used in major league games. Also you can get one made with your name on it for a few bucks.
The museum part shows films of the trees being cut on to the completion of the bats.
