A must see for racing fans. It's located at Churchill Downs. I went the week before the Derby and it wasn't too crowded but the tour had about 40 people. So much history! Before the tour, everyone sits in a theater and they show a film on all four walls. It was amazing. The tour takes you behind the scenes and you get to go out to the finish line area. Great pics of the twin spires and the winner's circle. The guide was a guy who really loved what he was doing. Kept us all laughing. We got to see Mine That Bird, the derby winner, in the barn. The artifacts and pics and displays in the museum were wonderful. Stopped in the cafe for a mint julep and they gave me the 2013 derby glass for free. Afterward, I walked over to the track area where simulcast racing was since the Track didn't open for the season yet and strolled around in there and made a few bets. You could walk out to the grandstand of the track for more photo ops of an empty Churchill Downs. Lots of parking.
