“Relaxing Getaway”

The Hill House was a wonderful and relaxing place to stay, Lisa is delightful, helpful and well educated on the area. My only regret is a last minute flight change meant we had to leave well before dawn missing out on what sounded like a mouth watering southern breakfast. However, we will return and look forward to that breakfast next time.

We stayed one night while doing the Boubon Trail, absolutely perfect!! Lisa Marie was very welcoming and made you feel right at home. The cheese and crackers and wine was a special treat!! We stayed in the Thoroughbred room which was perfect!! Breakfast was amazing and delicious. We hope to visit again.

This is a wonderful spot on the Bourbon trail, 1 hr to Louiseville, 1 hr to Mammoth Caves and 1 hr to Lexington, and minutes from distilleries and Bardstown. Lisa Marie is exeptional hostess, breakfasts were delicious and ample. Wine offerred in afternoon and home is spacious and spotless

Room Tip: Thoroughbed room is nice and on Main floor

We were headed to the Smoky Mountains for our anniversary and found this place on Trip Advisor. We booked a room, and the Hill House exceeded all of our expectations. Lisa Marie was a wonderful host... she was incredibly gracious and fun to chat with. The room was great, the breakfast was phenomenal (I can still smell the apple-cinnamon muffins!) and we have already told so many of our friends to go. We plan on going back again for sure... see you at the Derby!

My sister and & I stayed here for three days while visiting various places in Marion County and highly recommend the Hill House. The owner, Lisa Marie, made us feel right at home and I learned so much about the area from her. I almost felt like I had lived in the area my whole life and it made a very special trip all the more memorable. Lisa Marie’s hospitality is five star! And I loved the Kentucky Derby hats she showed us!

You can't go wrong staying at Hill House! This inn is a completely renovated farmhouse with all the modern touches. The rooms are both comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is delightful. But the true highlight is the innkeeper, Lisa Marie Williams. Her warm welcome is heartfelt and her knowledge of the area is amazing. We want to do the Bourbon Trail again, just to stay at Hill House.
