All things "Makers Mark", turn any occasion into something quite wonderful!. They really do know how to treat you special here! The sights, sounds, smells, and most importantly "the tastes" are memorable. Not easy to get to, but extremely well worth the journey into Loretto, and the tour is fun, informative, and finishes well "just like their Bourbon!"

Tip - Become a "Makers Mark Ambassador", just ask your tour guide or access the website for membership. Many many perks with your membership, and you can also get your name on a barrel with a "birth certificate issued" when the barrel is filled, and a "due date of maturity". When the bourbon is ready, you will get an invitation to visit the distillery and purchase a few bottles and hand dip them from your barrel. Pretty cool stuff!

This was the third tour we took this day and fourth overall distillery tour. This was by far the best! Tour guide was amazing! If I only did one tour, this would be it. Tasting was well put together and we enjoyed being able to taste the mash. Tour was was kid friendly.

If you are a bourbon lover, then you have to come to Maker's Mark for a tour. Our guide, Catherine was very informative and a pleasure to be with. You see everything. The stills, the fermenting barrels where you can taste the mash, the barrel room, bottling line and of course, the tasting room. An easy walking tour. Well worth your time.

We have visited other distillery's in different states but Maker's Mark was really neat. It does take awhile to get to as it is in the middle of no where. But our tour guide made us feel very welcome. They take you behind the scenes of every aspect of making Maker's Mark. We even got to dip a bottle in the red wax in the gift shop. I was really impressed with the information that was provided and how welcome we felt. It was worth the drive!
