“We always stay here and Love it!”

I travel regularly. We love this hotel. The staff is friendly, and accomodating. The rooms are fresh and clean. This is an older property but is very well maintained and always clean. They have a full complimentary breakfast with about anything you could ask for.
The beds are some of the best out there. I have a temperpedic mattress at home and i sleep very well here. I wouldn't go anywhere else when I am in Lexington

This was a wonderful hotel. All the employees were friendly and always had a smile on their faces. David at the front desk was a true gem. He helped with directions, restaurants and shopping. Pool and spa what a great treat. Will stay here every chance I Get!!!!

Stayed here with a group in late July 2011. The hotel is quite dated and is in need of many upgrades. Because of this hotel's location, my guess is those upgrades won't be coming anytime soon.

The good: The staff were all attentive and pleasant. They really do their best to make your stay as nice as they can make it. The front desk, restaurant and housekeeping staff were friendly and were smiling every time I saw them. The room was average size and the beds were comfortable. Fridge and microwave worked. The shower worked very well. The shower head was adjustable and looked new. The indoor and the outdoor pools were well maintained although a bit over chlorinated. Everyone LOVED the pools and the indoor pool is quite large. The spa pool was also large, hot and well maintained. There is a door in the indoor pool area that indicated that they had a sauna, but I did not look inside. Our breakfast buffet was included and was decent (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, rolls, cereal and pancakes along with coffee, tea and juices) although I would not pay extra for it. The location is good as long as you are willing to drive a couple of miles to New Circle Road. There you will find many restaurants and a Walmart.

The not-so-good: The hotel is quite spread out and walking through hallways that were not air conditioned in late July was unpleasant. The hallways and rooms had a definite smell to them (Febreze was my friend). I assume they do not run the air conditioners in the rooms that are not being used and that contributes to the smell along with cigarette smoke. The entire property looks as old as it is and the decor was quite outdated and worn (this did not bother me, just reporting). The fitness center is laughable and should not be listed in their amenities list. Most of the equipment was broken.

Overall, I was happy with my stay and the rate. If you are looking for a place with a nice pool, this place has 2 and they are both nice. The place was also very quiet and had entrances around the building that made it easier to access the rooms. I would stay there again.

We had group reservations here for a sports team. Half the team did not check in and others only stayed one night. It was very run down. The biggest issues were the rooms and common areas were not clean and lots of bugs.

I have to travel to Lexington a few times a year, and have always stayed here, primarily due to its convenient location. This will be be my last.

The room smelled horrible. I thought I might get used to it, but never did. What will clinch it for me, though, is the rude treatment from the desk clerk (manager?) upon checkout. I cannot abide rude treatment from service industry employees, especially when I have done nothing to earn such treatment. There are other hotels within about a half mile from this place, where they will probably treat you better for half the price.

Room Tip: If you book from their site, you will pay more in taxes for the same rate.

I was here with m family for three nights. The rates were very reasonable in comparison to others in the area and the hot breakfast was to die for. I particularly liked the fact that the hotel has all the facilities one needs such as a laundry room, gym and a swimming pool.

The staff were friendly and the rooms were very spacious. I agree the main decor is a little dated but what matters is the room. Ours was very well cleaned by staff. I would not think twice about staying in this hotel again as ours was a good experience.

We stayed here just two weeks ago, and upon entering the lobby to check in, I had a bad feeling. The lobby smelled like smoke, and the room was even worse! There were several families staying in our group, and one family asked to move rooms due to the mold smell in the room. The front desk acknowledged the first floor had a mold problem when they moved them to the second floor. The place is very dated and not very clean. Some rooms had cobwebs, pubic hair in the shower, and bugs in the bathroom.

On the positive side, the front desk guys were very nice and the hot breakfast was good. However, these positives aren't enough to warrant staying here with all the other available lodging in Lexington.
