“Great little bakery.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2012

Great little bakery with very friendly staff. Peanut butter chocolate pie was divine! (slice was enough for 2 to split)

“Have extra time”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2012

Le Matin is very European. The sandwiches are made on hard crusted bread. This is very similar to items across the Big Pond. It is around $7.00 for a sandwich with no chips or sides. Unlike a trip across the Pond, the help is very unfriendly and the wait is forevvvvver. If the help could even manage a "Hello" I would have given it 5 stars. The desserts are very tasty and worth the wait and rudeness.

“Pretty cute place! Delicious but light food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2012

Love all of their desserts, the croissants and meringue. However, I usually visit this place for a light lunch before class and love the lunch items! They have yummy panini's, soups and sandwiches. I always get a side salad because the vinaigrette on it is homemade and absolutely divine! Also, I love trying different types of gourmet cheese and they have a pretty good selection. If you're not sure which cheeses you will like, they have an appetizer that is a "cheese plate". While it's very simple (comes with two thin slices of cheese, granny smith apples and slices of french baguette), it is very filling and nice if you want to try a new cheese. I recommend the Cambozola blue cheese and the D'affinois Double Creme because they pair very well with apples and bread. They have a wine shop that is on the other side of the restaurant, which has great Italian and French wines too!

“The best Croissant in town, though not too friendly”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2010

croissant's here are baked to perfection. They also have a wonderful selection of imported cheeses and delicious little desserts. In the summer, be sure to pick up a fresh fruit tart. Though the people behind the counter have never been very warm or open, and the coffee tastes a bit burned. If these two things were improved, I might go everyday!
