What a splendid surprise. Before we traveled to Lexington, I googled things to do there and the Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour came up. I had my 17-year old daughter with me and I thought it would be neat to show her how radio used to be. The show was absolutely awesome and the people there are so friendly. Tickets are inexpensive ($10 for adult and $5 for students). Book in advance and pay at the door. Go get some popcorn, drinks - even beer, and get to your seats (general seating) 15 minutes before they go on the air. We saw an amazing guitar duo - Loren & Mark, and a jazzy singer - Etta Britt. I absolutely loved it. My 17-year old - not as much (too "old time" for her). A lot of entertainment for not much money. I would highly recommend it.
