Three of the four of us had burgers, but me, having to be different opted for the Blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich with onion rings; which I thoroughly enjoyed. The burger eaters seemed to enjoy their meals as well. They also have a large selection of beers and will let you sample them. Beware tho, the floor around our table was very slippery.

Service A. Food C+, good tasting but way overpriced for what you receive . Hambugers come as stand alone for a steak house small dinner price. For $3 you receive 3 (three) onion rings for a little less $$ you rec a nice mound of fries .Nice selection of beer but again , a little high. Overall- pricey considering what you receive.

I chose the Roma burger whilst my boyfriend had the Kentucky. They were large enough for a main meal but not so huge you were over faced. Becoming more conscious of portion sizes you can order a snack burger in half the size which would be great for a light meal or for children. Prepared with high quality meat and cooked to your liking, I was highly impressed. The flavour combinations were spot on & the service was high as it usually is in the us. I would def go back if I found myself in Lexington again.

A rehabbed Mexican restaurant location in Beaumont is the latest addition to the portfolio of this SW part of Lexington and adds to an impressive array of dining choices. As residences we are able to walk to shopping, restaurants, the library, Kroger's and the LB...what a great location.

Bru had gotten off to a rocky start in its first month...reviews have been mixed, at best. We decided on a slow Sunday evening. The decor gets high marks...they salvaged a Mexican joint and created a snappy, smart and beautiful space. Kudos.

Ashton was very pleasant, and prompt. There was no hesitation in service as mentioned in other reviews. The place was half full but not noisy. 60's period mix played in the background.

A bacon cheeseburger classic and the pulled pork sandwich were our choices. Each gets thumbs up. Cooked to order and well dressed. House-made catsup was better than other reviewers noted. Fries, though, failed...small, burned (bad oil) and not even drive-in quality yet a $2 up charge. Be careful about the add-ons...they don't tell you they are up charged.

The buns were very large, unimaginative, very white and without taste addition.

If you gave me a Five Guys at $4 and this at $9...there is no comparison. Five Guys without question. They are working for a gourmet crowd with a product that is easily beaten by fast food joints. A Herald Leader review commented on the sides being wonderful but why would you go to a gourmet place and die for the sides? Price point vs. value...they lose.

They have much to work out on this dining model. Two sandwiches, fries, one draught, one bottle beer and tip....$38! I didn't want to buy the place just rent it for a few minutes.

Ashton, you were the best thing about our visit. And things will get better.

This concept is simple and timeless.... Burgers and beer.... BRU has great appetizers and burgers, cold beer and a neat atmosphere. Yes, the ordering is ala-carte, but so is Rafferty's and Red Robin... get over that.... Don't over think this place and go, order a burger you wouldn't eat at home, drink a frosty local beer and have a good time!!! Pretentious people, STAY HOME!!
