We won this room on priceline for a very good rate. We received a handicap room (did not request) with 2 double beds. Linens were very good quality, with down pillows. The bed felt heavenly. The handicap room had a large bathroom with walk in tiled shower. Very nice and clean. There are two rooms in the suite; the entry room had a large conference table and 6 chairs. Different, but nice if you needed the space to work. We did not use it. Room temp stayed even all night, and there was no noticible outside noise. Overall very pleased witht he decor of the room. Wet bar with small fridge. Internet was 9.95 a day, I did not use. No breakfast offered with the room. Restaurant on site, we did not use. Front desk clerk at 2 am when we arrived was very grumpy. She could easily give a little smile to welcome very weary travelers. I would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

We stayed in the Hilton Suites, Lexington, KY while we were driving home from a trip. We picked it because it was a Suite hotel and located within walking distance of restaurants and had an outdoor pool. At the registration desk, the clerk was rude and abrupt. We had been driving all day and were happy to get out of the car. A freindly hello or smile would have been nice. She was rude, grumpy and frowning. We got adjoining suites - one with a King connected to a suite with 2 queen beds. We had 4 children with us - so this was going to be a perfect set-up. The grumpy desk clerk gave us 4 breakfast vouchers - I said, "There are 6 of us". She said, " You get 4". I said 4 are children - she said ," You only get 4". You would think that when you reserve rooms with enough space for 10 people - you would get more than 4 breakfast vouchers. We went to the room - dark, hot, dated and gross - and went right back out for dinner. One bright spot a great restaurant next door to the hotel. Upon our return, the kids wanted to watch tv - all in their own beds. One room did not have a remote control. I called at 10:40pm and asked for a remote. I was told," The night shift comes in at 11pm, they will bring you one." It is not a big hotel, I was paying over $300 for one night - bring me a remote control!!! We never got one. The next day we went down for breakfast - GROSS! At 9:30am, they already had fish, green beans, potatoes, etc out on the buffet. Wonder how long will they site there? We could not get waffles becuse the guy did not have a spatula. The coffee cups were so GROSS and DIRTY, that I asked for a paper cup - and it had a bug in it. This place is AWFUL - unhappy, rude staff, dirty and gross. Do not go there.

Just returned from a 3 night stay in Lexington; picked this hotel because of location and also the outdoor pool ( who wants an indoor pool in August?) Room was amazingly quiet considering there are three hospitals nearby and when outside you could hear the occasional rescue squad, but in the room we did not notice any noise. The sounproofing must be first rate. Our room(209) was on a corner so we had a wrap around window in the bedroom ( 2 complete walls ) and another window in the sitting area - lots of light. There is an inroom safe, a small fridge and coffee maker , but no microwave. ( there is one in the bar area which guests can use)
The pool was great - and the location of the hotel is amazing - there is a patio out the back door overlooking a man made lake with fountain; there are ducks and fish that the kids can feed.
We are one meal in the hotel restaurant - the dining room was closed - slow night?? so we ate in the bar ( same menu ) the bartender/server was extremely friendly, however the food choices were very limited and high priced, but well prepared. We later learned there are several restaurants in Lexington Green - just out the backdoor from the hotel. A seafood, restaurant ( Regatta ) bar ( Louie Louie), Joseph Beth Booksellers which has a cafe that is a good place for breakfast. All of these have outdoor dining overlooking the lake, and Tony Roma's which is inside.
If you are looking for a very relaxing place to stay a short distance from downtown this is it - if you just need a room to sleep in - I would stay somewhere less expensive. We used this as a mini vacation and definetly felt that the location was worth the price.

My wife and I stayed here because we got a good rate on Priceline. The hotel was satisfactory, but if we had been paying full price on this trip we probably would have stayed at a less expensive hotel with complimentary breakfast. One amusing detail: the front desk put us in someone else's room. (I know because there was an untouched frequent customer card in the room which thanked him by name for staying.) It didn't matter to us, though he may have been peeved. We did like the door separating the bedroom from the living room--it blocked the noticeable noise from the hall, lobby, and bar--but it's not something for which I'd pay full price.

Low price per priceline, otherwise would have been disappointed in hotel had I paid full price. Booked nonsmoking room. Upon entry, stale cigarette smoke permeated the air. Front desk promptly switched us to another room, but no view of pool. Interior of hotel dark and outdated. Actual room ok. We did not use the pool. Breakfast way overpriced with $3.95 "seasonal fruit cup" with 2 pieces of melon, 2 pieces of pineapple, and a sliver of a strawberry. I prefer staying downtown when traveling to Lexington.

I was in Lexington for business and stayed here as we got a great deal from priceline. The hotel is on its own cul-de-sac near some shops and restaurants and it is a short drive from the university but it is not walkable. It is also a bit hard to find as its signage is not well done. Otherwise the hotel is great; quick check in, the rooms are the standard 2-room suites with modern appointments. The bathroom was adequate and had lots of towels. The gym had a range of free weights, elliptical trainers and treadmills but no weight-training machines. Breakfast wasn't unreasonably priced and tasted fine. They also have a buiness center with free internet and printing; otherwise it's $10 for in-room wireless. Apparently it gets quite full during the horse shows. I'd stay there again.
