Recently I visited Dudley's on Short during the Lexington Restaurant Week 2014. We had looked at all of the Restaurant week menu's online and thought that Dudley's sounded the best. Literally had us drooling just reading the menu. However we were disappointed to learn, upon being seated at the restaurant that that they had taken half of there selections off of the menu. When we questioned the server about the differences in the menu his response was "well we posted it on our Facebook page." He was very rude about it and even went so far to suggest that we could "just not dine with us" if we didn't like the selections. However we decided that since we were already seated, and didn't want to make a scene we would go ahead and order from the selections they had left on their menu.
I had the Wilted Salad, Braised Short Ribs, and the Blackberry Peach Cobbler. They were all delicious, especially the Bacon Cheddar Grits.
The food was great but we were very disappointed in the attitude of our server as well as half of the Restaurant Week menu being deleted.
