My husband and I had been wanting to try this relatively new Lexington eatery for awhile. We recently made a visit for dinner and we were not disappointed - it was fantastic! it was a nice summer Saturday evening and we decided to sit outside - to spite the rustic tables and fold up chairs it was lovely. The menu had enough variety to make it appealing without so much that it was hard to make a choice. We opted for the specials of the day: A spicy chorizo sandwich from a local supplier and a quinoa tabbouleh salad with fresh local cucumbers and feta cheese. Both dishes were delicious. We also ordered the cheese plate appetizer that had a bountiful serving of local cheese, grilled bread and condiments. For dessert we had a scoop of a local craft ice cream (Crank and Boom.) We each had a beer and our tab was just under $50 so it was very affordable too. I can't wait to go back to this restaurant - this is a place that is always trying new dishes and being very innovative in the area of smoked meats. Well worth a visit if you are in downtown Lexington.

It was a beautiful day for an outdoor lunch under umbrellas. The broccoli radish salad was delicious and large enough to share. Two in our party had sandwiches: chicken salad and pimento cheese on sour dough bread. Again ample portions. I had the locally made strawberry ice cream and my dining friends had the panna cola tat. We were pleased with both. Wish the water had ice cubes. A larger menu would be great, but those are minor details. Will go back again. Location is on a friendly residential street with some other privately owned restaurants. Gotta support the locals!

My friend who was born and raised here and who referred me to County Club was right - "You have to eat here!"
Good variety on menu with smoked meat at the center. The service was great with good suggestions from a super attentive server. Will go back...again and again!

Nice friendly open atmosphere. I had the brisket, excellent, and also smoked wings. Just as good. Some interesting beers, and the big surprise was a knock-out buttermilk pannacotta dessert---in a smoked meat joint. Whoa! Go there.

We were visiting friends in Lexington, and they suggested County Club. We had to wait a few minutes past reservation time...several tables were engaged in conversation. Once seated we had great service, and had a local beer, the salad special and Poutine. What a treat! Our taste buds marveled, and our stomachs growled for more. We cleaned our plates and finished the evening with a wonderful local ice cream, honey bourbon flavor. Come and see...stick around if there is a line...enjoy this great experience in food.
