The food was good... Just not that impressed. Restaurant was clean and server was very personable. On the up side... The cheddar biscuits were AWESOME!!!

We went to the Red Lobster on Nicholasville Rd last Saturday. We wont be back.We drove past this place twice and couldn't find it because it sits back from the road and they had no sign you can see. When we gave up and decided to go to Chic -fil a we found it. The place was jam packed ,but was still quiet enough to enjoy being there. The staff was friendly and good with customers. The food was not that good however. My shrimp and Scallop linguini was drenched in an oily garlic "sauce" that puddled in the plate.Everything we had was covered in an oily, greasy coating that simply was not good. This is not a place to get good seafood. Long John Silvers would have been far better at a fraction of the price.
Perhaps not the best seafood I have ever had, but definitely the overall experience was excellent. Service was timely, friendly and unobtrusive. Atmosphere was conducive to relaxation and conversation without worry of other patrons overhearing or of our having to listen to them. We loved the Sweet Chili Shrimp. As always their biscuits were good and filling. A smarter me would have stopped with the appetizer and biscuits, but food was good enough that I moved onto the Broiled Seafood Trio, which was also prepared quite well. So we left Red Lobster once again stuffed to the gills (yes - pun intended). No one will be disappointed with their seafood meals at this location.
We have been having dinner at this restaurant once a year for over 12 years and have never been disappointed! Very good food and service!
I have eaten at this restaurant many times over the last 20 years and as always the food and service was excellent. Usually is always crowded but never over a 20 minute wait. The wait staff is always friendly and the food was perfect.
