“Unique”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2013

My son and his future wife took me for brunch and we loved this place. The atmosphere is so Victorian and quaint but not stuffy. The decor is so entertaining as the view. Service and food were excellant. I was really surprised by the unique taste of the grits as well as the biscuits and gravy. We enjoyed this restaurant and will return.

“Eclectic”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2013 via mobile

Not many places in downtown Lexington open for lunch on a Saturday. We were walking by, found it open and packed. Decor is very eclectic with a lot of televisions in the bar area (not a good sign to me). But the sound was off so the tv's weren't intrusive. Wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Menu is eclectic and diverse with most options available all day. We each had a cup of soup (mine chicken noodle, my wife had lentil) which were very tasty. My wife had a Cobb salad, served deconstructed, while I had a smoked salmon sandwich. Both were very good. Overall a very enjoyable meal.

“Tasty Desserts”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2013

My husband and I stopped in for a dessert while in Lexington. It is a quaint building on the corner with an old time feel inside. My husband has the chocolate lava cake and I had the apple crumb tart.

Both were very good. Atmosphere very relaxing and they don't rush you. You can sit in the lounge chairs and tables and watch your favorite sport.

Nice place.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 7, 2013

This is one great looking Restaurant with great food and service. You can have anything your heart desires, from breakfast to lunch, to dinner, YES you can choose anything from the menue at anytime !! Very French decor, chic, and warm feeling. You can meet for business, date night, or go by yourself, because well trained staff will give you enough attention that you will not feel alone !!

“Disappointed with Bar Atmosphere”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2013

The website seems to want to make this place seem elegant and sophisticated - it isn't. There isn't a table in this place that is not in view of a TV set. One of the two areas is wall to wall TVs. It is brightly lit and fairly loud. It's rating as a romantic restaurant is "Poor". If you want to go out with a big group and watch the game, great. If you want a romantic night out, go elsewhere. Food was good - but you get what you order - and not a piece of lettuce or slice of bread more!
