“My new Favorite!”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Had a nice comfortable evening watching Notre Dame football. They have an extensive Bourbon Menu and great service. This is a must visit if staying downtown. An easy walk to the Hyatt or Hilton.

“Excellent Lunch”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Great place for lunch. Extensive menu! Interesting atmosphere. Loved it! The waiter was attentive and even had lunch remade for one member of our party when he was not immediately happy with his sandwich.

“Lovely Restaurant”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

Victorian style restaurant serving everything from crepes and omelets to beef tenderloin. Good food. Great atmosphere. Two different personalities to each side of this restaurant. One more feminine and one dark wood and masculine.

“Great atmosphere, service but the food was not great. ”

The food was dissappointing considering how much I have been hearing about this restaurant. I love the atmosphere, the staff was phenominal and very attentive.

“appreciate the good service”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

The restaurant was very busy. They don't take reservations, I'm told. The manager helped us get a table in just a few minutes which was appreciated. Service was very good. Food was good. Very convenient to the Opera House which is across the street.

Everyone in our group seemed to like Shakespeare and Co and agreed that they would go back.
