Nice outdoor park with lots of horse statues (simulating a race), and foals resting in the surrounding area. There's also a fountain that kids cool off in during the evening - fun to watch!

We went here with a love for horses and not knowing much about the place. It was not crowded since everyone was in Louisville right before the Oaks. It is fun to see the horses and what the throushbred is all about. We saw several horse demonstrations and went to a mock sort of sale. The bronze statues were life size. We went over to a horse barn and talked to people that were actually working with the horses including a vet. Everyone was so nice and friendly. If you have time I would suggest this for a novice or an experienced horse person.

What a truly remarkable place, it is like stepping on to a KY horse farm or race track...only everything is frozen in bronze sculpture. Not many of the locals tell about this, but I assure you, stop by for a visit while in Lexington. We did this stop before going to the horse races at Keeneland, my kids loved it, as did my wife and myself!

Amazing park in Lexington downtown, beautiful sculptures of thoroughbreds horses in action. More: many plates with biographies of the most distinguished horsemen and women in american turf history. Wonderful!
