Very well done. Lots of riders and runners! Good use of stimulus dollars. Very safe bike exit from downtown to great biking roads!

Thank Greg E

Many points of entry to the trail. The paved trail was one of the best re bicycle riding quality and trail quality. Very impressive. We did not have enough time to ride due to other committments, but we will return and go out of our way to do so.

If you are looking to see the buegrass country size, walk, run, bike, or check out the beautiful people of Lexington, the Legacy Trail is a great was to spend a few hours. But be aware there is very little shade on most of it, so bring plenty of water.

This trail is most beautiful when started at the Horse Park. You can bike/run through farms, tunnels, over wide iron bridges. The bridges accommodate 4 bikers across at a time. Mile markers are stone structures, so they're easily seen and you can track your progress without a meter. They've even added art paved within the path. Great place to exercise away from the city.

The Legacy trail is a wonderful place to ride your bike. The trail runs from the loudon (N Lexington) YMCA to the Ky Horse Park, going through the city, farms, UK farmland, by Spindletop Hall, to the horse park. Local artists have painted on the trail and groups can adopt an area to Lanscape. Relaxing.
