Was there last week and it seems it caters to younger crowd, beer was cheap, band was terrible (when house music went on the dance floor got crowded). There are plenty of other bars to check out before I suggest this one. It also seems it caters to "townies" so out of towner's and visitors beware since warm welcoming is missing.

The food is mediocre and the drinks are over priced. If you like large crowds on Friday and Saturday , you will be right at home. There are plenty of other places close by to spend your hard earned dime.

After browsing the farmer's market on a Saturday morning we headed here for lunch. Very nice place. Our waiter, Gabriel, was very friendly and outgoing. The food was excellent. I look forward to returning!

I have been to Parlay social several times with my wife and friends. The atmosphere and night-life are excellent. The food that we tried is great, except for the sandwiches. The raw oysters are some of the best we've had. We did experience several issues with this establishment that could use some improvement:

1) We were given plasitic knives and forks. In my opinion this is somewhat classless

2) The waiter was not very knowledgeable about the food when we were trying to decide what to order. He did not know the source of the oysters for example.

3) I was served a dry turkey sandwich with no mayonaisse or sauce at all. I had to ask for condiments.

4) They were out of liquor for one the signature cocktails.

I think this establishment could be outstanding with just a few minor modifications. Particular attention should be given to the training of the waiting staff. This tends to be lacking in the Lexington area in general. A point of contention for me is being served by a waiter or waitress who acts as if they are working for a chain bar and grill.

We will continue to frequent this establishment hoping for some improvent in these areas.

Located right downtown Lexington, parlay offers inside and outside sitting. Single menu for lunch and dinner with good options of food - don't miss the grilled sandwiches - and tap beers at very, very friendly prices. Great, prompt service. On Fridays and Saturdays live music performance in the evening, which attracts beautiful, joyful people. Arrive early to get a seat, otherwise.....Service quality plummets on Saturday evening.
