Great place to eat! It is easy and the patio is awesome. The food is above average and they have a great drink menu that will satisfy anyone that you are with. Would recommend to anyone staying downtown.

“Very good for simple bar food”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

Good thin crust pizza. Very good burger, and very good wings. Nice patio, average services, mellow atmosphere. Easy casual place to hang out.

“Great Restaurant for couples or the family”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

I loved my experience at The Grey Goose. I went with friends and their children. We all shared different types of pizza. It is not your typical pizzas. The Fried Egg pizza was amazing. They made a cheese pizza for the kids. The desserts and the appetizer selection was also very good. I can't wait to try this place again.

“A Goose No City Would Vanish”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

We decided to give the place a try on a visit to Lexington. There was a writeup in one of the magazines on how Jefferson Street is developing and the Grey Goose sounded good.

The street is developing and the Grey Goose is a nice space for sure. You can walk in past the old bar to enter, or come in from the street past horse stall gates that seem to work only in Kentucky. The dining area is an outdoor patio with 20 or so tables in a square with elevated infrared heat lamps strategically place. The tables have umbrellas and the whole place is surrounded by tall, healthy,100 year old trees.

We had the pizza and a grilled iceberg lettuce wedge. Both were tasty. The pizza is very thin and cooked at a high heat so the edges blister nicely, but don't burn. The staff seemed to be young and pulled together and we saw no flaws in the system.

We also happened to be there for "Yap-py Hour" which is held once a year to foster animal adoptions and so their courtyard next to us was filled with very happy "Yappy " animals and people considering adoptions. Nice vibe.

PS. I have no idea how they haven't been sued by the vodka people for having the same name. It wouldn't surprise me that some legal department would force a name change--but they won't change the enjoyment.

“Good atmosphere”
Reviewed October 10, 2013 via mobile

This place looked really busy, so we decided to call in for drinks and a bar snack. It was friendly and I formal. We had chicken strips which were nice.
